Community arts project in the Zaan region

During the 2006-2007 cultural season, Merlijn Twaalfhoven and the La Vie sur Terre Foundation will spend a whole year collaborating on a community arts project in the Zaanstad region. By meeting as many members of this community as possible and by organising workshops, we will be working towards a number of different performances that will all be taking place this year on unique locations in the area.
These projects will all fall under the title ��Droom aan de Zaan�(A dream from Zaanland):...� and will take place at different times throughout the year. We will be working towards a final performance, Droomzomernacht (A dream-summer night), a contemporary version of Shakespeare's famous play, �A Midsummer Night's Dream�.
