Tomoko - Une Femme Urbaine

Merlijn Twaalfhoven directs and composes an unorthodox performance of Tomoko Mukaiyama. In this performance a contemporary and classic repertoire comes together in a refreshing manner. There are combinations with subtle disarranging theatrical interaction, technical manipulation, lyrics and visual elements.
By the use of space there is an abrogation of the border between stage and audience. The audience is being challenged to open all senses and the perception itself becomes the object of the performance.
