Charles and Rupert: Witnesses

First collection of evolutionary events. Four connected light metronomes direct the recorder players independently through different rhythms and tempos. In an organic way they sometimes unite before crystallising and cracking again. I used a computer-controlled device, which provided each player with red and green lights, indicating tempo and beat. In this way they played independently, shifting out of phase but also finding each other sometimes and playing exactly together, creating a kind of �wandering� music, transforming from liquid to solid and vice versa.
