Accordance

When I heard that the Ricciotti Ensemble was planning to perform at the Lowlands Rock Festival, I wrote a symphonic piece for them according to principles taken from dance music: loops, samples, beats and grooves.
The conductor, however, did not find it suitable for the occasion and the piece was premiered at a later date (with great success). Later, I worked the piece out for a large orchestra (see: GUSH�) and afterwards it was performed at a number of more serious occasions.
